Job summary

Mashreq Bank is seeking an Assistant Manager, Learning & Development to join our People & Intellectual Capital Group. You will design, deliver, administer, and govern learning initiatives across the organization, manage the LMS and learning platforms, and ensure effective onboarding and learning experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years in L&D or HR, with hands-on LMS administration and strong data skills (Excel, Power BI) to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, education, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in learning & development, talent development, or human resources.
• Experience in a large organization, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR learning platforms.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and Power BI, with ability to generate actionable learning insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms to ensure seamless delivery of learning services.
• Coordinate and oversee learning programs, workshops, and development initiatives across the organization.
• Manage learning nominations, registrations, course assignments, assessments, and surveys.
• Track, analyze, and report learning metrics, dashboards, and training effectiveness using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Publish and maintain the annual learning catalogue and training calendar.
• Support the design, delivery, and facilitation of behavioural and professional development programs.
• Coordinate employee induction programs and ensure a positive onboarding learning experience.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify capability gaps and support learning needs analysis activities.
• Manage relationships with external training providers and ensure quality delivery of learning solutions.
• Support compliance, audit, regulatory reporting, policy governance, and learning administration activities.
