Job summary

Grand Millennium Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. You will ensure equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean and ready for use by culinary teams.

You will wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and tools, coordinate silverware and glassware care, assist in inventory, and support the culinary team during meal services while adhering to hygiene, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Polish silverware, glassware, and chinaware for service.
• Assist in inventory of kitchen and dining equipment.
• Ensure timely removal of garbage and waste from kitchen areas.
• Support culinary team in food prep and setup for meals.
• Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in food storage areas.
• Collaborate with stewarding supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning kitchen equipment to the supervisor.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of kitchen and dining areas for service.
• Follow safety guidelines and environmentally friendly practices.
