Job summary

Dhaba in Abu Dhabi is seeking hardworking Kitchen Stewards to join our pre-opening team and keep the heart of the kitchen clean, safe and ready for every service. You will report to the Sous Chef and Head Chef and ensure dishes, utensils and equipment are spotless for our chefs to create great food.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Steward or Dishwashing role.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and chemical safety.
• Basic spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitise and store all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans.
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine safely and efficiently.
• Clean kitchen floors, walls, work surfaces, equipment and storage areas.
• Keep chefs supplied with clean utensils and equipment throughout service.
• Remove waste and recycling, following correct disposal procedures.
• Help receive, check and store deliveries when needed.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Follow HACCP, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Report any equipment issues or breakages to the Sous Chef.
