Job summary

Alshaya's Cheesecake Factory at Al Maryah Central in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Steward to join our busy kitchen team. The role focuses on keeping dishwashing and cooking areas clean, sanitary, and in good repair while supporting the flow of service.

We look for candidates with basic English and experience in a similar food preparation environment. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation and lifting heavy equipment as the shift progresses, ensuring safe, efficient operation

Qualifications

• Basic English skills are required.
• Previous experience in a similar food preparation environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stewards keep the equipment clean, sanitary and in good repair.
• During a single shift, a steward may be responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils and the cooking equipment.
• Counters and work areas need attention as food preparation continues through the shift, and the job will also involve lifting heavy equipment.
