Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Steward to support daily operations at Heartists Cafeteria, ensuring cleanliness across kitchen and service areas.

You will maintain spotless workstations, wash utensils, and follow HACCP standards, while assisting the culinary team and reporting issues. This role requires reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely.
• Physically fit, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, floors, and workstations.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, and cutlery.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain clean waste storage areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas.
• Support the culinary team by ensuring clean equipment and utensils are available during service.
• Report maintenance issues and hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
