Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Steward to support daily operations at Heartists Cafeteria, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen and service areas. Previous experience as Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher is advantageous; basic knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals is required; must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher in a hotel, restaurant, or cafeteria is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards is expected.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, floors, and workstations.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, and cutlery.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain clean waste storage areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas.
• Support the culinary team by ensuring clean equipment and utensils are available during service.
• Report maintenance issues and hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
