Job summary

Pullman Dubai Downtown is seeking a Steward to support our kitchen and Food & Beverage operations, ensuring a clean, hygienic, safe and well-organized working environment while upholding our quality standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, waste disposal, ensuring stocked items, and adhering to HACCP and safety guidelines in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Should have min. 1 year experience as a Steward in a hotel or restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and the operation of dishwashing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen and outlet areas, workstations, floors, walls and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collect, segregate and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas and follow recycling procedures.
• Monitor availability of kitchen and F&B items; report low stock to supervisor.
• Follow hygiene, food safety and sanitation procedures including HACCP standards.

What you will be doing

• Clean and sanitize kitchen and outlet areas workstations floors walls and equipment according to hotel standards
• Wash and sanitize crockery cutlery glassware pots pans and other kitchen utensils
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Collect segregate and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures
• Maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas and follow proper recycling procedures
• Monitor the availability of kitchen and F amp B items cleaning supplies and report low stock to the supervisor
• Follow all hygiene food safety and sanitation procedures including HACCP standards
