Job summary

Redford Recruiters in Abu Dhabi is seeking reliable Kitchen Helpers to support daily food preparation and kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment based in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidates will assist chefs with mise en place, basic vegetable/meat preparation, ingredient handling, storage, kitchen organisation and cleaning. UAE/GCC experience is an advantage; Nepali & Sri Lankan candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic food preparation knowledge.
• Able to use basic kitchen tools safely.
• Understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Physically capable of working in a busy kitchen.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
• Nepali & Sri Lankan candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support chefs with daily food preparation and mise en place.
• Wash, peel, cut and prepare vegetables.
• Assist with basic meat preparation as instructed.
• Prepare ingredients for service.
• Receive and store ingredients correctly.
• Maintain organised storage and preparation areas.
• Keep workstations clean throughout service.
• Support chefs during busy service periods.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as required.
