AWJ Investments in Dubai is seeking a motivated Junior Commis to join our culinary team. You will assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations, following recipes and standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis or in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Willingness to learn and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute positively to the team.
