Job description

The Home Educator is responsible for supporting the educational, language and developmental growth of a three‑year‑old child within a private family environment. The role focuses on preparing the child for school readiness through structured learning in both Arabic and English while fostering creativity, communication, social skills and cognitive development through engaging educational activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the parents to ensure consistency in the child s learning journey while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality. The position is full‑time and may be offered as either a live‑in role with accommodation provided or a live‑out position depending on the successful candidate s preference and suitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured daily educational program appropriate for the child s age and developmental stage
  • Teach and reinforce early literacy and numeracy skills in both Arabic and English including letter recognition phonics vocabulary development reading readiness handwriting and basic mathematics
  • Support the child s transition from nursery to formal schooling by ensuring achievement of age‑appropriate educational milestones
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that promote cognitive language emotional social and physical development
  • Encourage learning through play storytelling arts and crafts educational games sensory activities and creative exploration
  • Foster confidence curiosity independence good manners and positive behavioral habits
  • Monitor the child s educational progress and adapt lesson plans according to individual learning needs and developmental milestones
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child s progress achievements challenges and recommended learning objectives
  • Create a safe positive nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages continuous development
  • Maintain educational resources books learning materials and activity areas in an organized and engaging manner
  • Support the child s language development by communicating fluently in both Arabic and English throughout daily routines where appropriate
  • Encourage age‑appropriate independence in daily routines while reinforcing positive values discipline and respect
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with parents and other household staff maintaining professional boundaries at all times
  • Demonstrate flexibility in supporting family schedules educational outings and special activities when required
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all family matters and uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism
  • Perform any other child‑related educational duties assigned by the family
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field is preferred

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining the family's privacy and confidentiality
  • Female candidates aged approximately 35–40 years are preferred due to the family's current requirements and the nature of the role
  • Willingness to work as either a live‑in (accommodation provided) or live‑out full‑time employee
