Overview
We are seeking a qualified early childhood educator to support young learners through safe, structured, and engaging nursery‑based learning aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The role requires strong English communication, care for children's physical, emotional, social, and educational development, and a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily learning activities encouraging curiosity, creativity, communication, movement, and early problem‑solving
- Support each child's safety, wellbeing, emotional comfort, and educational growth throughout the nursery day
- Deliver planned educational activities in line with EYFS curriculum
- Promote independent learning by encouraging exploration, participation, questioning, and self‑confidence
- Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere for children of varied abilities and backgrounds
- Adapt activities, resources, and teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and developmental needs
- Maintain high standards of care while supporting children's personal, social, emotional, physical, and language development
- Observe, monitor, assess, and record children's progress using the Learning and Development Profile book
- Prepare clear updates and reports on children's learning, behaviour, participation, and developmental milestones
- Take responsibility for classroom safety, health, hygiene, supervision, and security procedures
- Work closely with nursery colleagues, assistants, parents, and management to support consistent child development
- Follow safeguarding practices, nursery policies, curriculum expectations, and daily operational procedures
- Assist with classroom preparation, learning materials, displays, events, and other nursery activities assigned by management
- Support children across Dubai nursery locations (Motor City, Mirdif, The Villa, Dubai Silicon Oasis) when required
Ideal Profile
- University degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant specialization
- Certified vocational qualification in early childhood care and education, preferably LevelIII or equivalent
- High‑school diploma considered if combined with CACHE Level3 certification and at least two years of childcare experience
- Practical knowledge of EYFS framework and child‑centered learning methods
- Native‑level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Previous nursery, preschool, kindergarten, or early childhood learning environment experience preferred
- Ability to manage young children with patience, warmth, consistency, and professional care
- Strong observation, assessment, reporting, and parent communication skills
- Understanding of inclusive learning practices and ability to support children with different developmental needs
- Responsible attitude toward child safety, safeguarding, hygiene, classroom routines, and nursery standards
- Currently based in Dubai or planning to relocate to Dubai preferred
