Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training in baking or culinary arts.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in pastry or baking.
• Supervisory experience: none or not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking and decorating.
• Review production sheet to understand varieties to be produced daily.
• Prepare and cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and coaching employees.
• Comply with safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
