Job summary

Le Méridien Abu Dhabi is seeking a Kitchen Attendant/Line Cook to support the cooking team by preparing ingredients, portioning, chopping, and maintaining a clean workstation in line with recipe and safety standards.

You will operate ovens and other equipment, monitor temperatures, and ensure food quality and proper presentation. At least 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Check temperatures of appliances and food to ensure safety and quality.
