Job summary

Gerald Group in Dubai seeks a proactive Operations Support Associate to assist in executing commodity trade transactions, monitor shipments, movements of vessels, and cargo deliveries, while coordinating trade-related documentation and maintaining accurate records in trading systems.

You will help prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, support commercial risk and PnL data, liaise with logistics providers, banks, customers, and other counterparties, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of experience in trading, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
• Exposure to commodity trading, mining, shipping, or international trade operations.
• Familiarity with ERP, CTRM, or trading management systems.
• Understanding of basic trade documentation and logistics processes.
