Job summary

Elite East Paradise Sea Cargo Services LLC in Dubai seeks a Junior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role. You will record transactions, maintain ledgers, prepare invoices, and assist with accounts payable and receivable for sea cargo.

You will reconcile bank statements, support month-end and year-end closings, and help generate basic financial reports while ensuring accurate cost tracking and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of continuous accounting experience with a single shipping employer.
• Strong foundation in basic accounting and bookkeeping and familiarity with invoices and ledgers.
• Education in Accounting, Finance or related field; knowledge of industry processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain ledgers for the shipping operation.
• Prepare invoices and support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist month-end/year-end closings.
