Job summary

Elite East Paradise Sea Cargo Services LLC in Dubai is hiring a Junior Accountant to support daily financial activities in a full-time, on-site capacity. You will record transactions, maintain ledgers, process invoices, and assist with payables and receivables for sea cargo services.

You will reconcile bank statements, aid month-end and year-end closings, and prepare basic reports while ensuring cost tracking accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• MUST: 2–3 years of continuous accounting experience with a single shipping employer.
• Solid foundation in basic accounting, bookkeeping, journal entries, ledgers, and financial record maintenance.
• Proficient with invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable, with accuracy and timeliness.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reconciliations, and simple analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills for multitasking and deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with finance and operations teams.
• Education in Accounting or Finance (diploma or bachelor’s degree) and interest in sea cargo/logistics.
• Willingness to learn industry-specific processes; shipping or logistics experience is a plus.
• Integrity, reliability, and adherence to company policies and controls.
