Job summary

DUBIMED MEDICAL SUPPLIES TRADING LLC in Dubai is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The role involves supporting daily accounting operations, handling AP/AR activities, and maintaining accurate financial records under the mentorship of senior staff.

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation, 1–2 years of experience, and a drive to grow within a trading and distribution company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience in trading, wholesale, or distribution is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
• Maintain daily journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Post intercompany entries and monthly reconciliations.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support VAT/tax filings and assist during audits.
• Generate weekly and monthly financial reports.

Junior Accountant

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

DUBIMED Medical Supplies Trading is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department (male candidate). The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Accounts Payable & Receivable team, supporting daily accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid accounting foundation looking to grow within an established trading and distribution company.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• General Ledger & Journal Entries: Maintain and update daily journal entries, general ledger accounts, and expense tracking. Reconciliation of corporate card spend & posting of expenses in the accounting system.
• Intercompany accounting: Posting of intercompany entries & monthly reconciliation.
• Bank & Account Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate/resolve any transaction discrepancies.
• Compliance & Auditing: Support VAT/tax filings and assist during internal or external audit preparations.
• Reporting: Help generate weekly & monthly financial reports.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 1-2 years of hands‑on accounting experience (experience in a trading, wholesale, or distribution company is a strong plus).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally & zoho books).
• Strong numerical accuracy and analytical mindset.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced trading environment.
