Job summary

Grandseal is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations in Sharjah, UAE. You will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain records, and help with reconciliations and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–2 years of accounting experience, with solid knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, and a good understanding of VAT and basic accounting

• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
• Support VAT-related documentation and accounting requirements.
• Assist the senior accountant with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
