Job summary

Tiger Group in Dubai is seeking a Junior General Accountant to support the finance team by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

The role is suitable for a recent graduate with 0–2 years' experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail, offering learning opportunities and growth within the finance function, including audits and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organized with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Comply with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the line manager.
