Job summary

Confidential is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate books, keep records reliable, and ensure compliance with company procedures. You will support daily accounting tasks and contribute to overall financial integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance and at least 2 years of accounting experience. We offer competitive pay, an annual bonus, a company lunch, and work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance; professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and prepare asset, liability, and capital entries.
• Record and process financial transactions on time per procedures.
• Review accounts payable requests for validity and approvals; process payments.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate and correct errors in financial data for reliable reports.
• Liaise with vendors; resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
• Audit supporting documents to substantiate transactions.
• Back up financial data to keep it secure.
• Support Senior Accountant with compliance and financial policies.
• Assist with other accounting and procurement activities.

• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, and resolve any discrepancies

• Back up financial data to keep it secure
• Support the Senior Accountant with compliance and the implementation of financial policies
