Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Experience as Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or Finance Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.

Trustbend Packers & Movers is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support its finance and accounting activities in Dubai. The successful candidate will assist with daily bookkeeping, invoices, payments, reconciliations, financial records, and routine reporting. This role is suitable for an accounting professional who wants to develop practical experience while working in a fast-paced moving, packing, and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, journal entries, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records.
• Assist with bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
• Verify invoices, expenses, receipts, and payment documents for accuracy.
• Track outstanding customer payments and support collection follow-ups.
• Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files.
• Assist with monthly financial reports, account schedules, and summaries.
• Support accounting activities related to packing, moving, transportation, and logistics services.
• Assist with VAT-related documentation and financial records.
• Coordinate with operations and administration teams regarding invoices and financial information.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting records and report them to senior finance staff.
• Assist with audit preparation by providing required financial documents.
• Enter and update financial information accurately in accounting software.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial and customer information.
• Support senior accountants with routine accounting and administrative tasks.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or Finance Assistant is preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and basic tax documentation is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.
