MultiBank Group in Dubai seeks a Junior Accountant to join the CFO’s team. You will support daily accounting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on UAE VAT experience, accuracy, and deadline discipline.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of UAE accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP systems. This is a full‑time, on‑site position offering growth in a global financial institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or accounting graduate.
• Minimum 2 years of local UAE accounting experience.
• Practical UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance experience.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proficient Excel and accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Record, review, and maintain day‑to‑day accounting transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Support Corporate Tax compliance, including calculations and filings.
• Assist in financial reporting and audits.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.

Role Overview

As the Junior Accountant, you will join the CFO's team and support the day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting activities of the Group. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with hands‑on experience in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, who can maintain accurate records, meet reporting deadlines, and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Accounting: Record, review, and maintain day‑to‑day accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Journal Entries and Reconciliations: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Period-End Closing: Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Corporate Tax Compliance: Support Corporate Tax compliance, including calculations, documentation, and filings.
• Financial Reporting and Audit: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.
• Record Keeping: Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BS Accountancy) or Accounting graduate (a must).
• Minimum 2 years of local UAE accounting experience.
• Practical experience in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preferred: Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: Experience supporting external audits.
