Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CFA preferred.
• 5+ years in financial reporting, ideally within FX/CFD brokerage.
• Experience with CFD and crypto reporting, including transaction classification.
• VAT and regulatory reporting knowledge in financial services.
• Advanced Excel; SQL knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee reconciliation of trading revenue streams (spread, commissions, swaps, IB payouts).
• Support regulatory reporting including VAT/FTA obligations.
• Classify revenue and expenses for VAT and e-invoicing compliance.
• Coordinate with Trading, Dealing Desk, and Data/Platform teams for data flows.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing documentation.
• Monitor liquidity provider and prime broker fee structures.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation in Finance.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis for senior management.
• Support audits and ensure records meet policies and standards.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Financial Officer to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will bring strong financial reporting expertise within the FX/CFD brokerage industry, with exposure to crypto reporting considered a strong advantage.

This role will play a key part in financial control, regulatory reporting, and supporting the Company’s ongoing compliance initiatives, including UAE e‑invoicing implementation. The ideal candidate will work closely with Trading, Compliance, Audit, and Data/Platform teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance across the Group.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee the reconciliation of trading revenue streams, including spread income, commissions, swap charges, and IB payouts.
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements, including SCA and VAT/FTA obligations.
• Assist with the classification of revenue and expense items for VAT and e‑invoicing compliance purposes.
• Liaise with Trading, Dealing Desk, and Data/Platform teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data flows.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and transfer‑pricing documentation across Group entities.
• Monitor and report on liquidity provider and prime broker fee structures.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and automation initiatives within the Finance function.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and prepare reports as required by senior management.
• Support audit requirements and ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, ideally within an FX/CFD brokerage environment.
• Experience with CFD and crypto reporting, including transaction classification.
• Strong understanding of VAT and regulatory reporting requirements within the financial services sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Trading, Compliance, Audit, Client Services, and Data/Platform teams.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
