Job summary

MultiBank Group in Dubai seeks a Junior Accountant to join the CFO’s team. You will support daily accounting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on UAE VAT experience, accuracy, and deadline discipline.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of UAE accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP systems. This is a full‑time, on‑site position offering growth in a global financial institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or accounting graduate.
• Minimum 2 years of local UAE accounting experience.
• Practical UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance experience.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proficient Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Record, review, and maintain day‑to‑day accounting transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Support Corporate Tax compliance, including calculations and filings.
• Assist in financial reporting and audits.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
