Job summary

Ladwig Consulting seeks an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist in Dubai to manage import/export shipments and local logistics. The role requires hands-on handling of JAFZA formalities, coordination with freight forwarders, and ensuring compliant documentation and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, negotiating terms, and liaising with internal teams such as Procurement and Warehouse.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in UAE logistics operations, including JAFZA formalities.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures under JAFZA regulations.
• Proficiency with EDAS 2.0 and Dubai Trade platforms.
• Proficiency in MS Office; English at least C1 level.
• ERP experience (Odoo or equivalent) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate import, export, and local shipments through freight forwarders and courier services.
• Track shipment statuses to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage customs deposits and clearance under JAFZA regulations.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders on pricing and terms.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices and packing lists.
• Communicate with consignees and coordinate with internal teams.
• Utilize EDAS 2.0, Dubai Trade and related platforms for processing.
