Job summary

JAMS HR Solutions is seeking a Jafza Documentation Assistant to manage import/export documentation for goods moving through the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai. You will ensure compliance with Dubai Customs guidelines and Jafza authority rules while coordinating with forwarders and customs.

The role requires 1–3 years of UAE customs/logistics experience, familiarity with Dubai Trade and SAP ERP, and strong attention to detail with professional English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience handling logistics and customs operations in UAE Free Zones (preferably Jafza).
• Knowledge of UAE import/export laws and VAT compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import/export declarations for Jafza.
• Coordinate shipment clearances with Dubai Customs and local forwarders.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, brokers, and warehouse operations to sync delivery schedules.
• Verify HS codes, commercial invoices, and packing lists for UAE import/export compliance.
• Maintain physical and digital logs of all customs clearances for audits.
