Job summary

Brisk Logistics LLC is seeking a seasoned customs and logistics professional to manage regulatory compliance and build strong relationships with Dubai Customs and JAFZA authorities. You will oversee inspections, resolve issues, and drive on-time clearance across import, export, transit, and free zone operations.

The role requires 5+ years UAE customs experience and at least 2 years in supervision, with expertise in Dubai Customs, JAFZA procedures and Mirsal 2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is preferred.
• Dubai Customs Broker Certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE customs experience and 2 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with Dubai Customs, JAFZA Authority, Dubai Trade, DP World, port operators, shipping lines, airlines, and government entities.
• Represent the company during customs inspections and audits.
• Resolve customs disputes, shipment holds and operational issues.
• Coordinate with customs officials for inspections, examinations and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Customs and JAFZA regulations and keep management informed of regulatory changes.

Job Purpose

To develop and maintain strong working relationships with Dubai Customs JAFZA authorities Dubai Trade shipping lines port operators government agencies and strategic customers while ensuring smooth customs clearance operations regulatory compliance and timely resolution of customs-related issues

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with Dubai CustomsJAFZA AuthorityDubai TradeDP WorldPort and terminal operatorsShipping linesAirlinesGovernment ministries and approval authorities
• Represent the company during customs inspections and audits
• Resolve customs disputes shipment holds and operational issues
• Coordinate with customs officials for inspections examinations and special approvals
• Ensure compliance with all UAE Customs and JAFZA regulations
• Keep management informed of regulatory changes affecting import export transit and free zone operations
• Support the customs clearance team in resolving complex customs cases
• Maintain excellent relationships with key customers requiring customs services
• Attend meetings with government authorities and strategic customers
• Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from regulatory authorities including MOHAPDubai MunicipalityOther government entities when applicable
• Monitor customs KPIs including Clearance turnaround time Customs penalties Customer complaints Inspection delays
• Supervise the inbound and outbound processes insuring the timely submission of all steps
• Constantly checking the ERP System to ensure correct reflection of the ongoing transactions
• Prepare and present regular reports and analysis to management regarding logistics performance
• Train customs staff on new regulations and procedures
• Ensure all customs activities comply with company quality and compliance standards
• Responsible for other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent (Preferred)
• Dubai Customs Broker Certification (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of UAE customs experience
