About the Position
We are looking for a professional, experienced, and patient-focused IV Nurse to provide safe and high-quality intravenous therapy and nursing services.
The IV Nurse will be responsible for IV cannulation, intravenous infusions, patient monitoring, treatment preparation, and post-treatment care, while maintaining strict clinical, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong IV therapy skills, excellent patient communication, and experience working with IV therapy, wellness, longevity, aesthetic, or premium healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. IV Therapy & Infusion
- Perform IV cannulation and intravenous infusion procedures safely and professionally.
- Administer IV fluids, vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and other prescribed treatments according to physician orders and clinic protocols.
- Prepare IV therapy equipment, medications, solutions, and treatment rooms.
- Monitor patients throughout IV therapy and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Ensure correct patient identification, treatment, dosage, route, and documentation.
- 2. Patient Assessment & Monitoring
- Conduct pre-treatment nursing assessments, including vital signs and relevant patient information.
- Monitor patients during and after IV therapy.
- Identify and report any abnormal signs, adverse reactions, or medical concerns to the physician.
- Provide appropriate post-treatment instructions and follow-up support.
- 3. Clinical Safety & Infection Control
- Follow DHA requirements, clinical protocols, infection-control standards, and clinic policies.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques during IV procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and disposal of medical equipment and sharps.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑prepared treatment environment.
- Follow emergency procedures and respond appropriately to complications.
- 4. Emergency Management
- Recognize and respond quickly to allergic reactions, vasovagal reactions, extravasation, hypotension, and other potential complications.
- Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and medications.
- Assist physicians during medical emergencies.
- Maintain valid BLS certification; ACLS certification is an advantage.
- 5. Patient Experience & VIP Care
- Provide professional, friendly, and personalized nursing care.
- Deliver a high standard of service to VIP and international patients.
- Explain treatment procedures clearly and answer basic nursing‑related questions.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, comfort, and dignity.
- Create a professional and reassuring patient experience throughout the treatment.
- 6. Clinical Documentation
- Accurately document IV therapy, medications, vital signs, patient responses, and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain complete and accurate nursing records.
- Report incidents, adverse reactions, and clinical concerns promptly.
- Ensure all patient information is handled confidentially.
- 7. Medical Supplies & Equipment
- Monitor IV therapy supplies, medical consumables, and equipment.
- Check expiry dates, storage conditions, and stock levels.
- Report shortages, damaged equipment, or expired products.
- Follow proper medication and medical-supply storage procedures.
- 8. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Assist with general nursing duties when required.
- Support clinic procedures, patient flow, and daily clinical operations.
- Participate in staff training, clinical meetings, and quality‑improvement activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent preferred.
- Valid DHA Nursing License or DHA eligibility.
- Minimum 2–4 years of nursing experience.
- Previous experience in IV Therapy / Infusion Therapy is highly preferred.
- Experience in a clinic, hospital, wellness center, longevity clinic, aesthetic clinic, or premium healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Strong skills in IV cannulation and venipuncture.
- Good knowledge of infection control, patient safety, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
- BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification is an advantage.
- Experience with VIP or international patients is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of nursing documentation and EMR/HIS systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
