Job summary

HYF Medical Center in Dubai, UAE seeks an experienced IV Nurse to deliver safe intravenous therapy and dedicated patient care. The role covers cannulation, infusions, monitoring, and post-treatment support for VIP and international patients.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or equivalent), DHA license/eligibility, and 2–4 years of nursing experience with IV therapy expertise. A strong emphasis on infection control, documentation, and emergency readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent preferred.
• Valid DHA Nursing License or DHA eligibility.
• Minimum 2–4 years of nursing experience.
• Previous experience in IV Therapy / Infusion Therapy preferred.
• Experience in premium healthcare settings is an advantage.
• Strong IV cannulation and venipuncture skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS an advantage.
• Experience with VIP or international patients preferred.
• Proficient nursing documentation and EMR/HIS usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV cannulation and infusion procedures safely and professionally.
• Administer IV fluids, vitamins, minerals and prescribed treatments.
• Prepare therapy equipment, medications and treatment rooms.
• Monitor patients during IV therapy and manage adverse reactions.
• Ensure correct patient identification, dosage, route and documentation.
• Conduct pre- and post-treatment nursing assessments.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection-control standards.
• Participate in care coordination with physicians and staff.
• Provide VIP patient care and client communication.
• Document nursing activities and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory.
• Assist with general nursing duties as needed.
