Job summary

Magrabi Health is looking for an IT support technician to operate, maintain, and support all computers and related equipment at the center. You will perform backups, deploy new desktops, and diagnose hardware and network issues.

You will liaise with vendors, manage part orders, and help users with computer software and hardware. The role requires good English and a suitable university degree, preferably with A+ certification.

Qualifications

• University graduate with exposure to hardware maintenance and computer operations.
• A+ certification is a plus.
• Good English speaking.
• Training in Windows OS and MS Desktop products; basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assignments as directed by the IT manager or supervisor.
• Operate the center's system by ensuring proper backups and periodic maintenance.
• Deploy new desktop PCs and maintain existing ones.
• Diagnose and fix network, PC, terminals, and peripherals issues.
• Liaise with hardware vendors for maintenance of equipment.
• Initiate and follow-up orders for computer parts.
• Assist users with operating computer equipment and software.
• Update skills through training and identify areas for training.
• Train users in general usage and operation of equipment.
• Manage IT software and hardware inventory.
• Protect center data in coordination with a supervisor.
• Perform other duties and adhere to Magrabi policies.

Job Summary:

Operate, maintenance, and support all computers, peripherals and computer Associated Equipment Both Software and Hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out assignments as directed by the IT manager or direct Supervisor.
• Operate The Main Center's System by Ensuring Proper Backups and Periodic Maintenance.
• Deploy New Desktop PC's and Maintain Old Ones.
• Fix, Diagnose or Isolate Problems with the network, PCS, terminals, and AllPeripherals.
• Liaise with Hardware Vendors Regarding Maintenance of Computer Equipment.
• Initiate and follow-up on Orders for Computer Parts Needed for Maintenance.
• Assist users with proper operation of Computer Equipment and Software Systems.
• Upgrade skills through continuous training and identifying the Training Areas Needed.
• Train and advise users informally on General Usage and Operation Of Computer Equipment.
• Handle IT Software and Hardware Inventory.
• Ensure the protection of center data in coordination with his superior.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Adhering to Magrabi Policies and Procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

• University Graduate (preferable) with Comprehensive Exposure on Hardware Maintenance and Computer Operations.
• A+ Certificate is a Plus.
• Good English Speaking.
• Training in Windows Operating System Environment and MS Desktop Products. Basic Knowledge of networking software, hardware, and Cabling.
• Preferably have any programming language.
• Two (2) Years Experience in a similar environment, maintaining and supporting various PCs and other computer equipment and Peripherals.
