Job summary

Gulftainer in Sharjah is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide effective IT assistance across the business. You will support IT Administration, maintain hardware/software, business applications, cloud services, network communications and terminal IT operations.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of IT services, with responsibilities including incident response, asset management, site IT procurement, security and backup duties, and helping educate business users on IT systems to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in IT support and maintenance of hardware/software.
• Familiarity with Information Security Management System concepts (ISMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to IT technical assistance requests as per Department SLA.
• Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software and business applications issues.
• Manage and maintain terminal WIFI and RDT equipment in operational condition.
• Maintain IT assets inventory and perform periodic maintenance of terminal equipment.
• Install and configure computers, printers and mobility devices as needed.
• Ensure business software is installed and updated and support site IT procurement.
