Job summary

The role requires 4+ years in IT support, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT, and certifications such as MCSA/MCSE/ITIL are preferred. Fluency in English and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
• Professional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or ITIL are preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and IT support applications.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of IT asset management, configuration management, and IT service support procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain, and decommission IT hardware, software, cabling, and related equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions, ensuring the proper functionality of IT installations.
• Provide first-line technical support to employees, responding to IT service requests and offering guidance on available systems, applications, and services.
• Record, monitor, and track support requests, including user details, reported issues, actions taken, and resolution feedback.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT colleagues or the appropriate support teams in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration management records, documenting all hardware and software installations, removals, and changes.
• Assist in evaluating change requests and investigating technical problems related to hardware and software installations.
• Follow approved installation procedures, technical standards, and health and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure effective IT support and service delivery.
