Halian Group is seeking an IT Project Officer to support structured delivery and governance of IT applications and digitalization projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role coordinates business analysis activities, project plans, documentation, meetings, RAID and change records, and vendor follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work under the Manager, Portfolio Projects Management to maintain PMO standards, ensure timely progress, and provide accurate project controls and reporting

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of IT project coordination or PMO experience.
• Experience coordinating meetings, deliverables and deadlines across multiple workstreams.

Job Summary:

Support the structured delivery and governance of IT applications and digitalization projects by coordinating business analysis activities, project plans, documentation, meetings, actions, RAID and change records, financial information, procurement and vendor follow-up, testing, transition and stakeholder reporting. Working under the direction of the Manager, Portfolio Projects Management and assigned IT Applications Project Managers, the role helps maintain accurate project controls, PMO standards and timely progression of deliverables across the project lifecycle.

General Responsibilities:

• Comply with the organization’s policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls, including delegation of authority, records management and applicable project governance requirements.


• Maintain accurate and complete project records in approved systems and repositories, with appropriate version control and document classification.


• Prepare timely, accurate and consistent project and portfolio information in line with HQ standards and agreed reporting cycles.


• Support periodic management reports, dashboards and progress updates to provide visibility of delivery status, milestones, financials, risks, issues, decisions and actions.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline.


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT project coordination, PMO, project support or technology delivery, preferably supporting applications or digitalization projects.


• Working knowledge of project lifecycle practices, business analysis support, project reporting, RAID and change control, and project documentation.


• Experience coordinating meetings, stakeholders, deliverables and deadlines across multiple workstreams.


• Experience supporting project financial tracking, procurement, contracts or vendor coordination.


• Strong organization, attention to detail, written communication, follow-up, analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint; familiarity with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow or Jira is advantageous.


• Proficiency in English.


• Must be currently based in the UAE


• Immediate joiners preferred
