Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering seeks an experienced ERP specialist to optimise Oracle Manufacturing, manage BOMs, routings, and inventory, and ensure accurate production data across units. You will configure modules, lead user access controls, and advance best practices across functions.

The role covers end-to-end ERP customisations, change control, and collaboration with project teams to deliver on time and within budget. A strong track record in Oracle ERP is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Modules and/or JDE Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Database, Network Technology, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Internet Technology, Quality Management, and Change Management.
• Project management certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the optimisation of Oracle Manufacturing processes, including Production, Shop Floor Control, BOM, Routings, Inventory, and Supply Chain operations, to ensure accurate production data and visibility across units.
• Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules to meet business requirements while minimising customisations and technical debt.
• Own user access administration by defining authorisation profiles and access levels and lead the creation and maintenance of user IDs and help desk procedures to safeguard system security.
• Drive improvements to internal procedures and software customisations across business functions and identify best practices.
• Ensure system integrity and secure delivery by managing change control, security controls, business continuity planning, and implementation support for changes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP customisations and enhancements from design to testing and implementation.
• Drive scheduling and prioritisation of ERP tasks to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Evaluate upgrades and improvements for suitability across departments and end users.
• Provide direct hands-on support to business users to minimise disruption.

Responsibilities

• Manage the optimisation of Oracle Manufacturing processes, including Production, Shop Floor Control, BOM, Routings, Inventory, and Supply Chain operations, to ensure accurate production data, minimise shop floor disruption, and maintain reliable visibility of inventory levels, order status, and fulfilment across business units submitting orders independently into the ERP.
• Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules to meet business requirements while minimising customisations and technical debt.
• Own user access administration by defining authorisation profiles and access levels and lead the creation and maintenance of user IDs and technical help desk procedures, to safeguard system security and ensure consistent, timely user support.
• Drive improvements to internal procedures and software customisations across business functions and identify and implement best practices across business functions beyond Oracle Manufacturing module.
• Ensure system integrity and secure application delivery by managing change control processes, implementing application security controls, supporting business continuity planning, and providing implementation support for approved system changes.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP customisations and enhancements in collaboration with the project team, from initial inquiry through functional design, development, testing, and implementation, to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and delivered on time
• Drive the scheduling, prioritisation, and implementation of all relevant ERP tasks, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery that aligns with approved user requirements and to support reliable and cost-effective delivery of ERP capability.
• Evaluate upgrades, new software, and system improvements for technical and functional suitability across departments and end users, by ensuring enhancements align with business needs and support operational effectiveness.
• Provide direct, hands-on support to business users by resolving the problems they face, to minimise operational disruption and maintain business productivity.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science /Computer Engineering or equivalent

Work Experience

Years of Experience: 7 Years of experience on Oracle ERP applications (configuration, implementation and support)

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Modules and/or JDE Manufacturing
• Working knowledge of Database, Network Technology, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Internet Technology, Quality Management, and Change Management
