Job summary

AlphaMind Group is seeking an experienced IT leader to develop and execute the group’s IT strategy, aligning technology investments with business goals across all venues and corporate functions in the UAE and beyond.

You will drive digital transformation initiatives, lead enterprise IT implementations, and manage governance, data security, and system integrations to ensure reliable and scalable technology in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a senior IT management or digital transformation leadership role.
• Proven experience leading enterprise IT implementations, system migrations, and digital transformation programmes across complex, multi-site environments.
• Strong background in helpdesk operations, systems governance, vendor management, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and business systems integration is highly valued.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, and emerging technology - with a track record of identifying and implementing practical digital solutions.
• Solid understanding of IT governance, data security, SLA management, and KPI reporting frameworks.
• Experience in hospitality, F&B, retail, or service-industry IT is an advantage but not a requirement for the right profile.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group's IT strategy, aligning technology investments with business objectives across all venues and corporate functions.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives including AI adoption, workflow automation, and process innovation to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify practical opportunities to improve guest experience, operational performance, and business decision-making.
• Design and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, data security protocols, and disaster recovery plans across the organisation.
• Oversee the selection, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise systems including POS, reservation platforms, payroll, accounting, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and back-office software.
• Manage system integrations across platforms - ensuring seamless data flow between operations, finance, HR, and reporting tools.
• Build and maintain IT infrastructure for new venue openings, from pre-opening planning through go-live and ongoing support.
• Administer platform operations including system upgrades, user access management, security controls, backup procedures, and data quality assurance.
• Own the IT helpdesk function, defining service workflows, escalation paths, SLAs, and performance standards across all venues.
• Act as the senior point of contact for technology issues across restaurants and hospitality venues, working closely with General Managers and Operations teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide training and hands-on support to venue staff and management on IT tools, systems, and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, software providers, and service partners - negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and HR to align technology initiatives with broader business priorities.
• Produce management dashboards, KPI reports, and performance analyses to support executive decision-making and operational visibility.
• Own the IT budget, procurement, and hardware and software asset inventory across the group.
• Establish structured asset management, classification standards, and lifecycle governance across all IT systems and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting capabilities, system performance, and operational controls.
