Job summary

Qode is seeking a proactive IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer in the United Arab Emirates to manage and support the organization’s IT backbone. The role covers network operations, system administration, access control, cybersecurity support, and backup management to ensure reliable IT services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or related field required.
• 3–5 years of IT infrastructure or system administration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity; configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Administer Windows Server and/or Linux environments; manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and file services; perform patching, monitoring, software deployment and server maintenance; support VMware and/or Hyper‑V environments.
• Provision, modify, and revoke user access rights; manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID; conduct access reviews and RBAC controls.
• Monitor endpoint security and antivirus solutions; support incident response and vulnerability remediation; enforce MFA and security best practices.
• Manage backup schedules and backup solutions; perform backup verification and restoration testing; maintain disaster recovery documentation and procedures.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support; support onboarding/offboarding; maintain IT documentation and SOPs; provide support for CEO office/Directors.
