Job Overview

Support staff by handling Odoo queries, equipment troubleshooting, and routine maintenance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for Odoo user questions and issues.
• Create and manage user logins, roles, access rights, reset passwords, and resolve access problems.
• Enter and verify data, run standard reports, and assist users in locating appropriate screens and reports.
• Prepare and keep simple step‑by‑step guides up‑to‑date.
• Report issues clearly and coordinate with the external Odoo partner, Elitbuzz, and follow up until resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware such as laptops, desktops, printers, IP phones, CCTV, biometric attendance, and other office equipment.
• Fix common problems with Windows, Microsoft 365, email, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and basic networking.
• Set up systems and accounts for new joiners, including site and mobile staff using Odoo on phones and tablets.
• Maintain office Wi‑Fi, internet connection, and basic network operational status; log calls with ISPs (Etisalat, Du) and vendors when needed.
• Follow company backup, password, and antivirus procedures and verify backups are running.
• Keep a simple IT asset list and support IT audits.
• Manage software access for Microsoft 365, Odoo, antivirus, and other utilities; track renewals.
• Coordinate with hardware and service vendors for repairs and support.

Qualifications

• Basic Odoo knowledge, including navigation, user management, data entry, and report generation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Wi‑Fi, printer, and VPN troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with biometric attendance/access‑control systems and Tally software.
• Experience using remote‑support tools such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Patient, friendly, reliable, and capable of following up on issues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Any Odoo certification or completion of an Odoo training course is a plus.
