Qode in Dubai is seeking an IT Business Analyst (Automotive) to bridge dealership operations and technology delivery, with a strong After-Sales focus and hands-on ERPNext/DMS experience. You will document processes, lead workshops, and ensure audit-ready, scalable operations across Service, Workshop and Spare Parts.

The role demands 7+ years in automotive IT/BA, deep domain knowledge, and the ability to guide system design while engaging senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years as an IT Business Analyst within an automotive dealership environment.
  • Mandatory: Direct, hands-on experience in After-Sales (Service, Workshop & Spare Parts) operations, including process design and systems support for warranty, job cards, technician scheduling, parts inventory, and customer service workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end process mapping and optimization.
  • Experience supporting multi-branch or multi-market dealership operations.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements & Process Excellence – Lead the end-to-end definition, documentation, and validation of business requirements for ERPNext/DMS and future digital initiatives. Map and optimize end-to-end dealership processes with a primary focus on After-Sales (Service, Workshop & Spare Parts). Conduct current vs future state and gap analyses to drive process improvement.
  • Automotive Domain Leadership – Act as Subject Matter Expert for automotive dealership operations. Ensure ERP and DMS system designs reflect real-world dealership practices, not theoretical workflows. Challenge business assumptions and requirements where misaligned with best practices or scalability. Actively guide ERPNext/DMS configuration decisions based on dealership standards.
  • Audit, Governance & Compliance – Ensure business processes and system requirements are fully documented and audit-ready. Support Internal Audit reviews and remediation efforts. Embed governance, control, and traceability into business and system processes.
  • IT-Business Engagement – Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT teams. Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications. Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and validation meetings. Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on process and system design.
  • Solution Delivery Support – Work closely with ERPNext/DMS implementation and integration partners. Maintain functional design documents, process maps, and specifications. Coordinate with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure requirements are delivered as intended.
  • Continuous Improvement & Digital Roadmap – Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and digital enablement. Promote consistent processes across branches and markets. Contribute to the automotive digital roadmap with a strong process and governance lens.

Experience: Minimum 7 years in an automotive dealership IT / BA role, with mandatory hands-on After-Sales (Service & Spare Parts) system experience

Languages: English required; Arabic advantageous

Role Purpose

The IT Business Analyst (Automotive) acts as the bridge between automotive operations and technology delivery. This role ensures that dealership business processes- across Service, Spare Parts and Operations-are clearly defined, audit-ready, and aligned with industry best practices, while being scalable across current and future markets. The role plays a critical part in the ERPNext/DMS implementation, and guiding the business toward standardized, efficient, and technology-enabled dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities
