Job summary

Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa is seeking an IT Assistant Manager to assist the IT Manager in maintaining and upgrading the hotel's IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and services. You will ensure smooth daily IT operations, minimize downtime, and provide technical support to hotel departments to sustain guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years IT experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience with Opera PMS and POS systems.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, networking and IT security.
• Experience supporting hotel departments and guest-facing technology.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT Manager with daily IT operations and hotel technology systems.
• Maintain hotel systems, including Opera PMS, POS, and other hospitality applications.
• Manage servers, network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Provide technical support to Front Office, Housekeeping, Finance, Sales, HR, and F&B.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, email, and connectivity issues.
• Support hotel telephony, CCTV, access control, IPTV, and guest Wi‑Fi systems.
• Monitor system backups, antivirus, cybersecurity, and data protection.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for maintenance and issues.
• Assist with IT budgeting, inventory, purchasing, and software licensing.
• Maintain IT documentation and incident reports.
• Support openings, system upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with hotel IT policies and information security standards.

• Previous experience in a hotel IT department is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS, POS systems, and hotel operational systems.
• Good understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking, and IT security.
• Experience supporting hotel departments and guest-facing technology.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and respond to urgent IT issues when required
