Job summary

Core42, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, seeks an IT Asset Specialist in Abu Dhabi to install, maintain, and support end-user hardware, ensuring minimal downtime across the organization. You will operate within the IT department, delivering expert-level support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.

The role requires hands-on hardware expertise, Windows OS proficiency, and strong AD/asset-management skills, with bilingual Arabic and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ and ITIL Foundation.
• Expert-level, hands-on experience with desktops, laptops and end-user hardware.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft environments.
• Experience administering Active Directory and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with IT Asset Management and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Hardware installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, install Windows and drivers.
• Maintain hardware inventory, track warranties, repairs, procurement and disposal.
• Maintain maintenance records, prepare reports and ensure SOPs and policy compliance.
