Job summary

Al Fanar Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a proactive IT Administrator to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. You will handle day-to-day admin tasks, provide user support, and ensure secure, reliable IT services across corporate operations.

The role requires a solid computer science foundation, 2+ years of UAE IT experience, and hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and core networking protocols. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of IT Administration experience in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and core networking protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise IT systems, hardware infrastructure, software applications, and network environments.
• Provide responsive technical support and troubleshooting to internal staff for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Configure, deploy, and monitor servers, workstations, printers, and networking equipment across corporate facilities.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and Active Directory / cloud identity environments.
• Execute routine system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and proactive security patch management.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and firewall logs for high availability and data security.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for hardware maintenance and specialized software support.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of network architecture, inventory assets, and SOPs.
• Support immediate operational requirements and participate in strategic IT infrastructure upgrades.
