Job summary

AL QADAH TRADING CO. L.L.C. is seeking a Server Administrator responsible for managing servers, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in IT and have over 5 years of experience in systems administration.

Job description

Server Role Administration

• Administer and maintain Server 2016 and 2013, including file servers, domain servers, and application servers
• Assist in deployment and configuration of application servers
• Manage backup and recovery procedures for application and data servers
• Provide technical support to end-users for applications hosted on servers
• Ensure integration and functionality of server roles within the domain environment

Active Directory Administration

• Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user account management, creation and deletion of users

DNS and DHCP Management

• Configure and manage DNS and DHCP services
• Resolve technical support issues on-site or via remote access for hardware, software, printers (label printers and standard printers), and networking issues

Network Design and Firewall Management

• Plan, design, implement, configure, and support LAN/WAN/Wireless networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, and access points
• Implement and enforce firewall policies for compliance with security standards

VPN Configuration and Support

• Configure and support Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for secure remote access
• Set up site‑to‑site VPN and site‑to‑customer VPN

Domain Management

• Assign, select, and register domain names for websites
• Work with domain registrars to purchase, renew, or transfer domain registrations

DNS Settings and SSL Certificate Management

• Configure and manage DNS settings to point domain names to appropriate hosting servers
• Assist in acquisition and installation of SSL certificates for secure websites

CCTV System Support

• Install and configure NVR and IP cameras, ensuring cabling and connectivity to enhance security
• Manage video storage system to optimize storage space

Etisalat Business B2B Portal

• Manage administrative role: handling and assigning CUG (Closed User Group) SIM cards and Internet accounts for organization

Microsoft 365 Web Portal

• Add users, assign licenses, reset passwords, and manage domains

PBX Systems

• Administer and optimize Grandstream PBX systems, implement IVR setup
• Meet with vendors to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues

Asset Monitoring

• Maintain meticulous records of IT assets, monitor Time Attendance Machine and Access Control System
• Generate monthly attendance sheets by various categories

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of systems/network administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, firewalls, backup, NAS, PBX, and CCTV
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
