Avaya IP Telephony
- Install, configure and maintain Avaya IP Office PABX systems across all group locations.
- Administer Avaya endpoints (IP phones, softphones, conference units, and voicemail platforms).
- Configure and manage call routing, IVR menus, hunt groups, pickup groups, and extension management.
- Integrate Avaya IP Office with Avaya Unified Contact Centre (Avaya IPOCC CCC) including agent configuration, queue management, and wallboard reporting feeds.
- Troubleshoot call quality issues: jitter, latency, one‑way audio, registration failures, and trunk connectivity faults.
- Perform regular PABX configuration backups, firmware upgrades and capacity planning.
- Liaise with Avaya partners and vendors for licensing, escalations and advanced support.
CCTV Video Surveillance Systems
- Install, configure and maintain IP and analogue CCTV systems across all Arenco Group sites.
- Administer Video Management Software (VMS), NVR/DVR systems and camera infrastructure including PTZ, dome, and bullet cameras.
- Manage storage capacity for video recordings and enforce retention policies aligned with compliance requirements.
- Perform scheduled health checks, firmware updates and preventive maintenance on all CCTV components.
- Support incident investigation by providing authorised footage retrieval and audit trails.
- Coordinate with physical security teams and management on system audits and expansion requirements.
Access Control Systems
- Implement, configure and administer electronic access control systems including card readers, biometric devices and door controllers.
- Manage user provisioning, access rights and role‑based access policies in the access control platform.
- Enrol, modify and deactivate user credentials (cards, PINs, biometrics) in coordination with HR and Security departments.
- Monitor access logs, generate compliance reports and flag anomalies or unauthorised access attempts to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and test door interlocks, electric strikes, magnetic locks and fail‑safe fail‑secure hardware.
- Ensure seamless integration of access control systems with CCTV and alarm systems for unified physical security management.
Time Attendance Systems
- Deploy, configure and maintain time and attendance hardware across all group sites (biometric terminals, RFID readers, facial recognition units).
- Integrate time and attendance devices with HR payroll platforms to ensure accurate and automated data flow.
- Troubleshoot device connectivity, synchronization errors and data discrepancies between hardware and software platforms.
- Ensure system uptime and data integrity to support payroll processing deadlines.
End‑User Computing Desktop Support
- Manage the full hardware lifecycle of desktops, laptops, workstations, printers and peripherals across all subsidiaries.
- Oversee hardware procurement, standardisation and refresh cycles in coordination with IT management.
- Configure and deploy end‑user devices using imaging tools and MDM platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware faults efficiently to minimise business disruption within defined SLA targets.
Network Hardware Physical Infrastructure Support
- Support structured cabling, rack management and physical network infrastructure across sites.
- Coordinate with the Network Engineering team on hardware‑related connectivity faults and PoE infrastructure support.
Design Specialist Software Support
- Install, configure and troubleshoot design and engineering applications including AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Revit, SketchUp and equivalent tools.
- Ensure hardware compatibility and optimise workstation performance for graphics‑intensive design software.
- Manage software licensing, activation and updates for design tools in coordination with department heads.
- Advise on workstation hardware specifications (GPU, RAM, NVMe storage) to meet design application requirements.
- Provide hands‑on support to end users experiencing installation failures, application crashes or performance degradation.
Microsoft 365 Email Client Support
- Provide hands‑on support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 email client profiles, mailbox settings, shared mailboxes, distribution lists and calendar sharing across end‑user devices.
- Support Microsoft Teams configuration including channel set‑up, meeting room integration and audio‑video device troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with the IT team on Exchange Online policies, retention settings and compliance configurations as directed.
- Educate end users on Microsoft 365 best practices, security awareness and effective use of collaboration tools.
General IT Operations
- Maintain accurate asset registers for all hardware under management.
- Participate in after‑hours maintenance windows and provide on‑call support for critical infrastructure incidents.
- Adhere to Arenco Group IT governance policies, security frameworks and change management procedures.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Diploma holders with substantial and demonstrably relevant technical experience will be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in hardware engineering, IT infrastructure, or a comparable multi‑discipline support role.
- Proven and demonstrable experience with Avaya IP Office PABX administration, configuration and Unified Contact Centre integration – MANDATORY.
- Hands‑on experience with CCTV, access control, and time attendance hardware – MANDATORY.
- Valid UAE Driving License – MANDATORY.
- Prior experience in a large multi‑entity or group‑of‑companies environment is strongly preferred.
- UAE work experience preferred; familiarity with local vendor landscape and regulatory environment is advantageous.
