Job summary

A leading Abu Dhabi-based buyside firm in Private Markets seeks a highly analytical Private Equity Associate to support evaluation, execution and ongoing management of private equity investments across regional and international markets.

You will perform detailed financial modelling, valuation and due diligence, draft investment memorandums, and assist in direct investments, co-investments and fund commitments. Exposure to Europe, North America and GCC markets is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• CFA, CAIA, ACA or an MBA would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing, screening and evaluation of private equity investment opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, company valuations and investment modelling including LBO, DCF and comparable company analysis.
• Assist in the execution of direct investments, co-investments and private equity fund commitments.
• Participate in financial commercial and operational due diligence alongside external advisers and investment partners.
• Prepare investment committee memorandums, presentations and recommendations for senior management.
• Assess investment opportunities based on expected returns, downside protection, strategic fit and portfolio diversification.
• Conduct detailed sector and market research to identify attractive investment themes.
• Monitor 글로벌 private equity activity, transaction valuations and macroeconomic developments.
• Support the development of investment strategies aligned with the pension fund's long-term investment objectives.

Private Equity Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Private Equity Associate to join the Private Markets investment team of a leading Abu Dhabi-based buyside firm. The successful candidate will support the evaluation, execution and ongoing management of private equity investments across regional and international markets. The role will provide exposure to direct investments, co-investments and fund investments, working closely with senior investment professionals to identify attractive opportunities and deliver long-term risk-adjusted returns. The position offers the opportunity to work within a sophisticated institutional investment platform deploying capital across a diversified global private equity portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Experience

• Approximately 3 6 years of relevant experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A), Transaction Advisory or an institutional investment platform.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrated exposure to M&A transactions, private equity investments or investment due diligence.
• Experience working on direct investments, co-investments or fund investments would be highly advantageous.
• Previous experience within a sovereign wealth fund, pension fund, family office or global investment manager would be beneficial.
• Exposure to international markets, particularly Europe, North America and the GCC, would be advantageous.
