Job summary

BEAMS Abu Dhabi is seeking a Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate stock control for Retail and F&B, handling receiving, storage, and cost documentation. You will collaborate with Retail, F&B, VMD and Finance to maintain orderly records and reconcile stock movements.

The role requires strong Excel skills, fluency in English and prior experience in storekeeping, inventory or purchasing administration. A high level of accuracy and confidentiality is essential for success in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory, logistics or purchasing administration.
• Retail and F&B experience strongly preferred.
• Supply chain, inventory, finance or related qualification preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and reports.
• Experience using inventory or stock-management systems.
• Strong understanding of receiving and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with POs, invoices and cost documentation.
• Ability to investigate and resolve stock variances.
• High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect merchandise, food, supplies and equipment.
• Match deliveries against approved POs, delivery notes and invoices.
• Record stock movements and maintain secure, clearly labelled storage.
• Coordinate Retail replenishment and F&B stock issuance.
• Prepare approved purchase orders and follow up on delivery status.
• Conduct cycle counts and full inventories and investigate stock variances.
• Compile food-cost, waste, stock-consumption and ageing reports.
• Maintain invoice, expense and period-end supporting documentation.
• Support local Finance with accurate records and documentation.
• Escalate accounting, tax or other financial judgements to the appropriate team.
• Maintain appropriate segregation between requesting, receiving, approving and paying activities.
• Communicate delivery discrepancies, shortages or damaged items promptly.
