Job summary

Bateel International is seeking an Inventory Coordinator in Dubai, UAE to manage inventory control activities and achieve 99% stock accuracy. The role reports to Manager - Warehouse and requires strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and Navision, plus proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

You will oversee posting of GRN/GRV, oversee perishable stock, and support purchasing and IT collaboration to optimize warehouse operations. 2+ years’ experience and undergraduate degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Inventory Coordinator or similar position.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English Language.
• Knowledge of ERP or WMS system and Navision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time posting for cafes, boutique, production; raise concerns for pending items.
• Close/post day-to-day transactions, GRN, GRV, transfer orders and sales invoices.
• Maintain real-time records for perishable products to minimize expiry and stockouts.
• Provide customer service support and effective communication with customers.
• Follow up on pending GRN and submit purchase invoices to finance within timeframe.
• Coordinate with purchasing for new purchases and to obtain goods ordered if OOS or perishable.

Inventory Coordinator - Dubai, UAE

Reports to: Manager - Warehouse

Job Purpose:

To manage all inventory control related activities and achieving stock accuracy of 99% and execute inventory control measures to ensure maximum stock accuracy.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure on time posting for cafes, boutique, production if anything pending should be highlighted with concern departments
• To ensure all day to day transactions, GRN, GRV, transfer orders and sales Invoices should be closed/posted
• Supervise and maintain real-time record of all perishable products and to minimise product expiry and stock out
• Monitor and provide customer service support for efficient communication with customers
• To follow-up for Pending GRN and submit all the purchase invoice to finance department within time frame
• Manage all product related correspondence with centralized purchase for new purchase
• Coordinate with purchasing department to obtain goods ordered if any OOS (specially short shelf life / perishable etc) or else day to day orders
• Strong communication with IT team for any system related issues to avoid the delay in warehouse operations
• Monitoring and updating the ‘Reserved’ location to match with physical inventory and to reconcile with delivery notes
• Reconciliation of physical dispatch vs delivery notes on weekly basis (specially Samples and Gifts)
• Should have strong knowledge of system (WMS) and can be part of system enhancement
• Monitor monthly inventory and cycle counting process and ensure 100% inventory accuracy
• Monitor efficient shipment of materials to customers, perform reservation as per planning team and business head’s needs

Health and safety

• Assure safe working environment and immediately fix any violation to safety regulations
• Ensure compliance of all Quality, Safety requirements as per legal requirements & company policy.
• Responsible for the safety of all team members, reporting all incidents and accidents immediately to line managers.
