Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and hardware support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto).

Position Summary

FDC is looking for an experienced and proactive Internal IT Infrastructure Specialist / Engineer to join its on‑site IT team in Dubai. The successful candidate will serve as the technical backbone of the organization, managing office infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, and daily IT support activities.

This role requires a skilled IT professional with strong experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, security practices, and end‑user support. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing local and hybrid environments while ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations.

Core Accountabilities

• Manage and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi‑Fi, switches, and firewall systems including Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
• Support local and hybrid server environments, including VMware, Hyper‑V, and cloud platforms.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and related cloud services.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE security standards, including NESA requirements.
• Coordinate with telecom providers such as e/ Etisalat and manage relationships with IT vendors.
• Handle hardware and software procurement activities with UAE-based suppliers.
• Provide Tier2/3 technical support for Windows and macOS environments.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support office technology systems including AV solutions, VoIP, access control, and CCTV systems.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience managing corporate IT infrastructure.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity; experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and networking protocols; knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, AWS/Azure, and hardware troubleshooting (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple preferred); preferred certifications include CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified Azure/M365, Fortinet NSE, or ITIL Foundation.
• Core Competencies: Excellent English communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills; immediate joiners preferred (candidates on visit visas also considered).
