Job summary

Elfonze Technologies in Dubai is hiring a Fortinet Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support Fortinet security infrastructure for clients across the UAE and GCC. The role focuses on FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP, with hands-on delivery, HA, VPNs, and security profiles, working with SOC/MSS teams to ensure secure, reliable networks.

Candidates should have 5–6 years of hands-on experience in network security, UAE market experience, and NSE certifications;

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, with a strong focus on Fortinet technologies.
• Proven experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls in enterprise or MSP/MSSP environments, including HA, VPNs, and advanced security profiles (IPS, AV, Web Filtering, Application Control).
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts: routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Fortinet certifications required: NSE 4 (minimum); NSE 5–7 strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting SOC/MSS operations, including incident response and change management within SLA-driven environments.
• Familiarity with SIEM integration, IAM/PAM, and cloud network security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT; CCNA/CCNP or equivalent a plus.
• UAE market/regional experience preferred; UAE residency/work eligibility preferred.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet security infrastructure (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP) across client environments.
• Implement and manage firewall policies, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAT, routing, and HA configurations to industry best practices.
• Perform network security hardening, firmware upgrades, and patch management across the Fortinet estate.
• Support day-to-day operations for Managed Security Services (SOC/MSS) clients, including incident triage and change implementation.
• Conduct network security assessments and contribute findings to client-facing reports and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with SOC and Offensive Security teams on incident response, threat containment, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support pre-sales by scoping Fortinet-based designs and providing technical input to proposals.
• Maintain accurate network security documentation and runbooks.
• Ensure environments align with ISO 27001, NIST, PDPL from a network security perspective.
• Provide L2/L3 support and escalation for network security incidents within SLAs.

Role Summary

We are hiring a Fortinet Network Engineer to design, deploy, andsupport network security infrastructure for our clients across the UAE andwider GCC. This is a hands-on delivery role covering Fortinet firewallimplementation, hardening, and ongoing operations, as part of our growingInfrastructure & Cybersecurity practice.
