APCO seeks a mid-level Internal Communications professional to join on secondment with a government client in Abu Dhabi. The role blends internal communications delivery with hands-on project management, planning workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring high-quality, confidential outputs.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and organized project manager able to handle multiple priorities while maintaining quality.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, public relations or related field.
• Government/public-sector/consulting/agency experience preferred.
• Demonstrated project management experience with planning, multiple workstreams, deadlines, stakeholder coordination, progress monitoring and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong editing/proofreading.
• Ability to develop professional content for internal audiences across channels.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities.
• Discretion and client-facing confidence.

Aufgaben

• Support development and delivery of internal communication plans aligned with client priorities and objectives.
• Draft, edit and proofread employee communications (announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, intranet content, briefs, presentations, talking points).
• Translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
• Coordinate campaigns across channels ensuring consistency of message, tone and timing.
• Own and maintain project plans, scopes, timelines, milestones, actions and dependencies; identify risks.
• Coordinate workstreams and inputs across client stakeholders; manage review cycles and trackers.
• Prepare meeting agendas, capture decisions and action items; follow up with stakeholders.
• Support organization of internal events, town halls and leadership engagements.
• Monitor communication performance and feedback; prepare concise improvement reports.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide responsive day-to-day support.
