Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Communications specialist to lead internal and external messaging across digital and print channels. You will craft messaging for employees, clients, partners and media, ensuring brand alignment and clear tone across all materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or PR.
• 4-6 years full-time experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong knowledge of internal communications and employee engagement processes and tools.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical organizational and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal communications strategies that promote company values culture and strategic objectives.
• Write and adapt copy in the appropriate style for all audiences including internal media and clients and for different media including print digital and social media.
• Work with other members of the Strategy & Growth team including the graphic design studio to produce timely and consistent marketing communications materials.
• Successfully apply creative thinking and clear communication principles to all communications to improve tone clarity style grammar and terminology; and align with AECOMs brand voice.
• Oversee content creation internal campaigns and brand messaging across all internal channels.
• Monitor effectiveness of communications initiatives and optimize strategies to increase impact.
• Learn and demonstrate an ongoing understanding of AECOMs brand technical capabilities services audiences and channels.
• Use and manage content management systems to keep the MEA pages of AECOMs intranet and internet up to date.
• Administrate Viva Engage (internal social media network) to keep group memberships up to date and encourage its use.
